With eyes on the catwalk for all the latest looks at London Fashion Week 2018, here is all you need to know from the shows. Find out how to incorporate all the hot trends into your salon. There are so many looks we are lusting after. Your client’s are bound to take inspiration for new hair styles and make-up looks that they will be asking you to re-create. Pops of colour are huge this upcoming season and we’ve got you covered. It’s all about daring to be bold and making a statement. Who doesn’t want to get head’s turning?
Brightly coloured eyeshadow, particularly blue, seem to be all the rage this upcoming season. Be sure to make a statement with your client’s make-up look and jazz up an otherwise simple look with a dash of powder. Re-create this look with the Sleek MakeUP I-Divine eye palette, the perfect choice to recreate a bold blue eye look.
Pink and purple shades have been spotted all over the catwalk to create bright and vibrant make-up looks. Wait whilst we frantically pull out all our eyeshadow palettes and try those colours we have been too scared to use in the past. Now is their time to shine and they have made us sure that we need it in every part of our beauty routine and we’re sure you’ll want to too! The I-Divine Oh So Special eye palette is one of our favourite choices to recreate this look. Give your client’s look a cheerful pop of colour this season.
Two-tone pink and red lipstick
We saw a whole lot of two-tone pink and red lipstick making a statement on the runway. Whether your clients want to go for a classic red lip with Carol Reef by Sleek or a pretty pink with Baby Doll, the world is your oyster when it comes to lip looks. Depending on your client’s preferences both will look equally as glam. Everybody can wear red lipstick, there is a look to suit all skin tones it’s just about finding the right shade for your client. If your client isn’t feeling too daring then opt for a pink shade for a more subtle, understated make-up look.
Between bright, colourful eyeshadows and 90s hair ribbons making a comeback on the runway, one hair look stood out as a clear trend- the aptly labelled ‘Explosion’ ponytail. Up the volume with this daring look. From the front it just looks like an extremely sleek pulled back ponytail, all of the fuss is in the back. Extreme volume from the back puts a twist on a well-loved up-do. A multi-textured effect creates interest with a massive party from behind. Create this hugely volumised look with the Cricket amped up styling brush and give your clients a fuller hair look. Then keep your client’s fabulous, vamped up look in place all day with the Elnett Satin Hairspray supreme hold.
