What is your speciality treatment?
I love My Beautiful Eyes Mylash express as it’s a great introduction to MBE professional. It helps to build the therapist’s confidence in the application of individual lashes.
As a treatment it only takes 30 minutes but it’s an instant pick me up and you and the client can decide together what results you want to achieve.
What is your top industry tip?
Retail and rebook!
As therapists, we do shy away from retailing but it’s not a dirty word. It’s a great way to finish your treatment and gives your customer that feel good factor we all get when we purchase a treat for ourselves. If your customers are not buying from you they are buying elsewhere.
Rebooking your appointments is also important. Try and get your customer to commit for her next appointment to ensure optimum results on her treatment and to make sure you’re not fully booked as we know time goes so quick and four weeks can easily go to eight if they don’t book there and then.
What has been your biggest beauty blunder?
When I was first introduced to eyelash perming, I thought it would be a great idea to create a curl on my friends lashes using the smallest roller. As she looked forward to seeing her results, expecting a fantastic curl and long looking lashes, we were both horrified that her lashes looked non-existent as they had curled back on themselves! Luckily, we now use the My Beautiful Eyes Mylash lift system and she now loves the results (it took her a while for me to convince her to try again though)!
