Festival make-up inspiration

With festival season in full swing and your social media feeds packed with glitter filled selfies, there is no better time to show you our favourite festival make-up inspiration and what looks we will be recreating. Whether you want to go all out with the glitter or are after a more subtle look, we have got you covered.

Sun-kissed

Let you natural beauty shine through with a simple, fresh faced look. Fake a gorgeous sun-kissed look by adding bronzer and a hint of blusher to the cheeks and across the nose. Use a brown eye pencil to create some faux freckles to complete the look. Add a touch of highlighter to the high points of the face to create a healthy glow.

Top tip- Keep your lips healthy looking and hydrated with carmex and a bit of gloss.

Simple yet effective

This Coachcella inspired look is so easy to recreate and looks amazing. A great option for those who want to embrace the festival look but like to keep it subtle.

Starting with your favourite go-to make up routine and a lipstick of your choice. Sleek True colour lipstick in Baby Doll is a gorgeous nude shade that will really compliment this look, or, if you are feeling daring, Sleek True colour lipstick in Exxxaggerate would look amazing! Then, use a liquid liner in a colour of your choice to draw on the desired patterns. The Ardell fame chase liquid liner in white looks great and is water-resistant and non-smudge, perfect for festivals.

Colourful contrast

Bright, contrasting eye shadow is bang on trend this season. Shay Mitchell perfected the look with this unicorn inspired festival make-up look.

Use a contrasting shade that compliments your eye colour on the lower lash line to make your eyes pop. The Sleek eye shadow palettes are great for creating looks like this, we love the Ultra Mattes palette

Not for the faint-hearted

For the festival goers that love to turn heads, this look is for you. A strong cut-crease, bold eye-shadow in the inner corner and lower lash line and a strong lip = our favourite festival make-up look.

Switch it up by swapping the blues used on the eyes and lips to colour co-ordinate with you outfit. Use Sleek true colour lipstick in mulberry and dab your chosen eye shadow over the top to create the look.

Top tip- layer highlighter over the eye shadow and lipstick to add extra definition.
